arts crafts interface-design club is a way of being disguised as a playground disguised as a design club.
aci-d club is composed of three parts:
WEEKLY HANG —— this can be one-off crafts projects, feedback / crit / jam sessions for more durational projects members are working on, brainstorming sessions, guest speakers, etc etc. The form + structure the weekly hang will take on is gonna be co-created with/by members. What you can count on is something low stakes, friendly, and consistent. Hang out →
MONTHLY FIELD TRIPS —— Every month we'll have field trips where we'll tour museums, archives, galleries, etc in NYC or Brooklyn. It's a study in seeing + engaging.
WORKSHOPS —— Occasionally we'll host more substantial workshops led by guest artists/speakers.
